Whangarei Boys' High School is the leading school for boys in Te Tai Tokerau and we are seeking an enthusiastic and capable teacher of science.
Applicants should be highly motivated and innovative to teach the NZ Sciences curriculum within our experienced and collaborative faculty. Ability to teach to NCEA Level 3 is an advantage. Please state other supporting subject strengths.
A strong commitment to restorative practices and culturally responsive and relational teaching approaches is essential.
Annual remuneration is dependent on qualifications and experience and will range from $59,027 to $99,216 in accordance with the Secondary Teachers' Collective Agreement (STCA). Individuals' actual base salary will be established by a salary assessment once a role is confirmed.
