We are a state integrated Catholic primary school situated in Taihape, nestled amongst rolling hills in the countryside, 1 minute from town. Our kura is part of the St Mary's Catholic Church Parish and serves a diverse and supportive community.
Our school requires a New Zealand registered, innovative and enthusiastic teacher who is passionate about enhancing children's learning. We offer amazing students, a well-resourced environment, focused professional development, and a very supportive faith-filled staff, whanau, and parish community.
Our school focuses on developing agency, cultural capability, and collaborative practices in various learning settings. We pride ourselves on living out our Gospel values, which can be seen across our school, and living our faith in action through service to others. We seek an educator with a sound knowledge of the New Zealand Curriculum and effective assessment practices who can become an integral part of our collaborative team.
This position starts in January 2025.
A willingness and the ability to participate in religious instruction appropriate to the special character of the school is a condition of appointment. The successful applicant must hold a current New Zealand teaching registration certificate.
