The teacher we are looking for should be able to:
Build effective, warm, and culturally responsive learning relationships with learners, their whanau, and staff.
Engage learners through relevant, innovative/digital, student-led programmes and sound classroom management.
Use effective formative assessment strategies to plan and deliver programmes that meet the needs of learners.
Integrate te reo Maori into programmes.
Self-direct their personal professional growth and development.
Work collegially and collaboratively, including team teaching.
Contribute to the schoolwide curriculum and extracurricular opportunities.
