An opportunity has become available for a flexible and motivated teacher to join our team. We are seeking a passionate and innovative professional who enjoys working in a positive, fun environment as part of a Y4-8 level collaborative team with responsibility as the Y7 and 8 home base teacher. Knowledge of iDeal Structured Literacy and a strength in PE teaching would be an advantage.
St Mary's School is a state integrated U3 full primary school located in the central city, with a current roll of 125 students, and a maximum roll of 135 students.
A willingness and the ability to participate in religious instruction appropriate to the special character of the school is a condition of appointment.
Applicants must hold a current practising certificate and be NZ registered. The successful applicant will be expected to support and uphold the special character of the school.
This is not a 'tagged' position – you do not need to be Catholic to be appointed to this role.
