Sanctions Analytics Analyst - Financial Crime Compliance (12 Month Fixed Term)At the heart of ASB is us, working together. The primary focus of this role will be undertaking analytics and reporting required for the optimisation of ASB's sanctions screening filters, in particular, development and testing of screening rules and performing controls relating to rule design, implementation and governance.We are looking for hands-on data analytics experience (solving complex problems, presenting results and recommending actions). Previous involvement with large scale technology projects would be an advantage.You will have experience in a range of current analytics tools such as SQL, SAS and R, and an interest in learning more about Financial Crime.A key part of your success will be engaging with a range of stakeholders, including CBA and technology vendors, and being able to clearly explain technical concepts, so it is important that you are a confident communicator.Key Responsibilities:You have demonstrated experience in data analytics (statistical modelling experience is ideal).Previous SQL and SAS experience and use of other tools to extract and analyse complex data sets from a range of data sources.Previous project and change management experience would be an advantage.Financial Crime and/or Fraud knowledge is preferable but not essential.An analytical and investigative approach to problem solving.Te mahi ki ASB | Working for ASBIn return, you will work for an organisation that places huge importance and focus on its people, where the sky is the limit for development and career opportunities.
