The role
We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated professional based in Auckland, Christchurch, or Tauranga to join us as Underwriting Support. This role sits in our high-performing Operations Team which makes up a critical part of our wider broker facing underwriting function. The team is supportive, fun and passionate about providing exceptional customer service!
Responsibilities
Preparing renewal invitations.
Regularly liaising with and assisting underwriters and brokers in the quoting and renewal process.
Receiving and answering queries from our broker partners.
Ensuring all risks are underwritten and accepted within authorised limits.
Staying on top of industry changes & trends.
Qualifications and experience
1-2 years' of insurance experience in an underwriting role, broker support role, or similar.
Will be able to thrive in detail, while looking to learn and grow in the insurance world.
Will be comfortable following up documentation from both internal and external customers.
Will be proactive with great verbal and written communication.
