Based in Whangarei, we are looking to add an experienced Sales Representative to our team of high performers to promote sales to the retail and residential markets. This role has a strong new business focus and will see you responsible for identifying opportunities to establish new and existing customer relationships, leveraging these to expand market share and grow sales revenue. This role will also include dealing with any customer queries, quoting, securing work, organising material and managing the installation process.
About You
You are an experienced sales representative, ideally in the building/construction industry who takes a consultative approach to sales. You will have experience in both commercial and residential environments with a 'hunter' mentality. In other words - you are happy to hunt for new business as well as foster strong working relationships with existing customers.
With the drive to work independently and focus on results, you'll be a strategic thinker with strong business acumen and excellent planning, prioritisation and account management skills.
You will have strong relationship building and problem-solving skills, with exceptional communication.
