By partnering with leading New Zealand businesses, we turn potential waste into exciting new products that set new standards in freshness and sustainability.An opportunity has become available for a motivated and experienced Sales Coordinator to join our team.This is a fixed term contract opportunity: full time hours, 7 days per week for the 10th December - 30th January period.You'll be responsible for driving business development, customer engagement, sales and marketing.Other duties and responsibilites will include:Using email, WeChat, WhatsApp and various other methods to keep in contact with customers daily.Confirming orders, shipping plans and updating customers on their fulfilment.Work with 3PL closely to order and confirm airfreight to match customer allocations and shipping plans.Systems Management, database management and inventory controlLiaising with transport companies and freight forwarders on timing and movement of packed product and inwards packaging, ensuring the correct movement of productCreating export loadouts and invoices for product to customers.Understanding the local market at wholesale level in order to report price and volume.Assisting Quality Controllers with preparing Declaration of Conformity (document prep) and ensuring our Packhouse Operator System integrity is managed and maintained.To be considered for this opportunity, you will need to proven experience in a similar sales or marketing role with a business development focus. Previous experience in a similar industry / environment will be a strong advantage.You will also need to possess:Exceptional communication skillsA strong understanding of Microsoft OfficeStrong organisation and time management skillsInitiative and a proactive attitudeThe ability to work in a collaborative team environmentThe ability to manage stress in a busy workplaceAn attractive remuneration package will be negotiated with the successful candidate and will be aligned with the skills and experience you bring to the role.
