The company: As one of New Zealand's leading specialized hire companies, we supply a wide range of elevated working platforms (EWP) such as scissor lifts, cherry pickers & knuckle booms to the construction industry. Established in Christchurch in 1994 with a small portfolio of machinery we now supply over 1300 pieces of equipment nationwide.
The role: Reporting to the South Island Sales Manager, you will be responsible for generating sales revenue from both new and existing customers in the Central Otago and Lakes District regions.
Duties include:
Pro-active business development, cold-calling and generating your own leads
Ongoing relationship management and new business development
Consistently meeting set KPI's & targets
Delivery of high level of customer service to achieve ongoing customer satisfaction
Face to face site visits to actively hunt out and generate new sales
Planning and follow up administration, diary management, maintaining accurate sales records
About you:
We're looking for a hunter, you'll be highly driven, competitive and focused on success
You'll have great relationship management skills; you can talk the talk and deliver what your customers need without compromising on service delivery or price
You have the ability to plan your day to maximize your time to get in front of your customers and generate sales
You're not afraid to pick up the phone and hunt out the business in this highly competitive market
You can work autonomously while participating as part of the overall team.
Ideally, you will have worked within the construction, freight, logistics or similar industry in a sales, relationship management, account manager, business development role
