Te kowhiringa | The OpportunityThe Road Sweeper Operator is responsible for maintaining the road network and keeping it clean and tidy. This includes cyclic catchpit cleaning and ensuring the plant is well presented, serviced, maintained, and operated in a professional, safe, and efficient manner that complies with all relevant legislation, regulation and policy and achieves agreed productivity and quality targets.
In addition to road sweeper operations, the Road Sweeper Operator will also be required to complete Temporary Traffic Management duties as required by the business. These may include but are not limited to:
Temporary Traffic Management Worker (TTMW) responsibilities
Operating mobile TTM plant
Site installation and uplift
Site management and monitoring

Ideally, as a Road Sweeper Operator, you will have experience in maintenance and operation of Sweeper Operators or similar specialist machinery. You will also have:
Full Class 2 Drivers License Required
A great work ethic with a strong focus on Safety and Quality
Strong planning skills and the ability to deal with unexpected events and problem solve
Great communication skills with the confidence to speak up
A high level of physical fitness with the ability to carry out manual tasks
A positive "can do" attitude
