Job summary
Horowhenua District Council is looking for a Risk Advisor to join the Business Performance Team within the Organisation Performance Group.This role is responsible for providing effective risk advice and support across the organisation.Working closely with the organisation to provide employees and Elected Members with tailored and timely advice on best practice risk management.
Job seniority: mid-to-senior level
Responsibilities
• Provide effective risk advice and support across the organisation.• Identify, assess, and prioritise potential risks across the organisation.• Ensure the effectiveness of risk management strategies and processes.• Maintain compliance with international and NZ standards.• Oversee insurance programs, conduct audits, and maintain a comprehensive risk register.
