Job Description
What is the purpose of this role?
The purpose of this position is to provide as a key support for the Market Finance Manager – Southern Region. The Restaurant Analyst is responsible for compiling and analysing financial data as well as making recommendations to improve financial results McDonald restaurants in the VIC, TAS and SA region.
What will my key accountabilities be?
- Manage and perform the reporting and analysis of the financial performance for restaurants
- Lead, identify and share profit optimisation practices
- Analyse financial performance and make recommendations for future improvement
- Analyse the impact of business decision in both the short and long term
- Be involved in the preparation and analysis of Licensee P&L projections
Essential technical and behavioural skills
- A clear and confident communicator both written and verbally
- Able to articulate financial acumen in terms suitable to the audience
- Self-motivated and proactive in own personal development- a person who takes initiative
- Strong in financial knowledge to utilise data/reporting to identify business trends/risks
- Able to courageously (but respectfully) challenge stakeholders to bring an independent and information-driven view where needed. Confident in challenging the status quo and looks for opportunities for improvement
- Skilled at leveraging relationships in a reciprocal way, using influence and mutual respect to work with various department and cross-functional colleagues to drive outcomes
