Research Internal Funding Coordinator

Massey University is looking for a dedicated Research Internal Funding Coordinator to spearhead the setup, administration, and enhancement of our internal research funding processes.
This position is part-time, 18.75 hours per week, fixed-term until December 2026.
This position is based at Manawatu campus in Palmerston North.
What You'll Do: Oversee the administration of internal research funding rounds and facilitate assessment committees, ensuring a smooth and efficient funding experience for all.
Lead the development and maintenance of a transparent internal funding process that supports our researchers and their groundbreaking work.
Work closely with a diverse group of stakeholders —from the Provost to academic staff— to ensure seamless communication and support.

Your Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills including customer engagement.
Proficiency in Microsoft tools including PowerApps, SharePoint and Excel.
An understanding of academic research activities and processes.
The ability to manage confidential and varied processes involving multiple stakeholders.
