We are located in beautiful New Plymouth (often sunniest region in NZ!).An exciting opportunity awaits for a Research & Development (R&D) Fabricator/ Technical Support, to join the team at McKechnie Aluminium.The Role:As the R&D Fabricator/Technical Support, you will play a key role being hands on within in our R&D Department to support the fabrication and prototyping of new products, components, and technologies.We are looking for someone to join us who can:Manufacture windows and doors for the purpose of testing.Install test units in our IANZ accredited test booth and assist in the test booth when remedial work is required.Alter the test booth for the various test units as and when required.Provide Fabricator training and support.Manage and monitor the fabricator punch inventory.About you:With proven experience in the industry, you will have:5 years' experience in the Aluminium Window Joinery industry.5 years' experience in all facets of cutting, machining, assembly, and Glazing of Aluminium joinery is essential.5 years' experience in installation of Aluminium joinery is also essential.Have the expertise to perform on site remedial work as and when outside of the region.The ability to read and interpret technical drawings.Have an eye for detail and strong an ability to trouble shoot problems.Are you a skilled fabricator with a passion for innovation and problem-solving, apply today and let's have a chat!Please note applicants must have the rights to work within New Zealand.Your application will include the following questions:Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in New Zealand?How many years' experience do you have as a fabricator?Report this job advert Don't provide your bank or credit card details when applying for jobs.#J-18808-Ljbffr
