Relationship Associate - Corporate Banking Department: Corporate & Institutional Banking Department
Reports to: Director, Corporate & Institutional Banking
Location: Auckland CBD
Key Responsibilities:
Support Director to develop effective business strategies to enhance the bank's position in the market;
Deliver value-added solutions to serve customers and placing their needs first;
Keep up-to-date knowledge that influence local and international business;
Support Director in establishing, developing and growing a portfolio of corporate clients while balancing the interests between the customers and the bank;
Carry out appropriate financial modeling, credit analysis, prepare credit application and work together with Credit team within the bounds of prudent banking;
Work with other stakeholders (e.g., Treasury, Trade Finance) to offer appropriate products to meet the customers' comprehensive needs;
Communicate and adhere to the bank's policies and procedures at all times;
Identify potential defaulting accounts, recommend solutions to Director to minimize risk and implement remediation plans as required;
Maintain customers and transaction information timely and accurately;
Participate in internal and external events and functions to grow network and promote the bank;
Be responsible for identifying, managing and mitigating operational risks and compliance risks in day-to-day activities;
Adhere to the bank's policies and procedures at all times;
Other tasks assigned by the department or the bank.
Qualifications and Requirements:
University graduate or above;
2 years' banking or relevant experience;
Excellent track record of delivering business targets, meeting customer needs and improving customer satisfaction;
Strategic and analytical thinking, excellent communication, problem-solving, interpersonal and presentation skills;
Strong knowledge and understanding of China and local markets are preferred;
Proficiency in both written & verbal English;
Eligibility to work in New Zealand.
