At MediCross Urgent Care and GP Clinic, we are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team on a part-time basis in our New Plymouth Central Taranaki location. As a Registered Nurse in our Urgent Care clinic, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, compassionate care to our patients.
What you'll be doing Assessing and triaging patients, providing nursing interventions and treatments as required Administering medications and injections under the direction of our medical practitioners Collaborating with the team to ensure seamless patient care Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records and documentation Providing health education and advice to patients and their families Adhering to all relevant clinical policies, procedures and protocols What we're looking for Registered Nurse qualification and current practicing certificate Preferably experience working in an urgent care, emergency or primary healthcare setting Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to liaise with patients, families and the healthcare team Proficient in computer systems and electronic patient record management Passion for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care About us
