An exciting opportunity has become available to work as a Registered Nurse-Outreach Immunisation and join our passionate and multi-disciplinary team at Women Child and Family Community in Children's Health Hub Rotorua.Mo te turanga / About the roleYou will provide Outreach Immunisation Services (OIS) to children in Health New Zealand Te Whata Ora Lakes Rotorua region aged 0-6 years whose primary health care services have been unable to locate or have been unsuccessful in bringing into primary health care services for immunisation and are overdue for their scheduled childhood immunisations and meet the OIS guidelines. Key responsibilities include making contact with these families, discussing immunisation, gaining informed consent and arranging vaccination at their home, clinic or other suitable venues.Key Responsibilities:Making contact with familiesDiscussing immunisationGaining informed consentArranging vaccination at home, clinic, or other venuesMinimum Requirements:Registered Nurse with current APCAuthorised Vaccinator with a current certificateExperience working with Infants and ChildrenCurrent Basic Life support level 4The Children's Health Hub is co-located with Rotorua Library in Te Aka Mauri.
