Registered Nurse – Medical Assessment Unit Dunedin Hospital Salary Band – $73,000 - $103,000 p.a prorata + Kiwisaver 0.8 FTE / 32 hours per week Our Medical Assessment Unit based at Dunedin Hospital is welcoming applications for an experienced Registered Nurse to join their multidisciplinary team on a permanent basis. Mo te turanga | About the role The Medical Assessment Unit is closely linked to the Emergency Department and other front-line services, so variety is a key element in this busy but rewarding role. Streamline the assessment and admission of non-critically ill medical patients Accommodate and care for patients for up to 24 – 36 hours, Tend to patients during what can be a vulnerable and scary experience. Our service is compassionate, friendly and we are committed to high standards of practice. Rostered rotating shifts 24/7 - incl. night shifts.
