You will live in the Otepoti Dunedin region.
You will utilise your nursing knowledge, assessment skills, and professional judgement to provide community-based clinical support, education, and advocacy.
Our clients have a wide variety of support needs - you may find yourself working alongside a person who is recovering from an injury, completing hands-on nursing tasks (such as wound, catheter, and medication management), right through to people who require long-term support to remain safe and well in their own home.
We can guarantee no two days are ever the same!
What you will bring | Nga tohungatanga mo tenei turanga Strong clinical assessments, excellent assessment skills, and a desire to develop your career Fantastic interpersonal and time management skills An ability to think fast in our fast-paced but rewarding environment A great sense of humour and the ability to quickly develop professional rapport with your clients and colleagues Restricted or Full Driver's License - must be able to drive around by yourself!
Essential to the role is: A Registered Nurse qualification and a current NZ practising certificate At least 2+ years of previous community experience You must be a NZ Citizen or Permanent Resident Excellent verbal communication skills, coupled with a caring nature and the ability to connect and interact within a multi-cultural environment.
A team player, someone who can build professional relationships in the community.
Ability to self-direct and manage a busy workload Restricted or Full Driver's License - and comfortable out and about seeing clients in their own homes.
Competent computer skills - email, computer-based assessments, smartphones, and tablets are used in this role We offer you a fantastic work/life balance as you will be only required to work Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 5 pm.
