We are offering an 8-month fixed term part time position available at Tauranga hospital, working 0.9FTE (36 hours per week).
As a Registered Nurse, you will care for patients with diverse health needs, including cardiac, high dependency, and intensive care cases. We are committed to your professional growth and will support you in ongoing practice development across all three clinical specialties.
Our ICU nurse educator group has crafted an ICU discovery program, a clear pathway for skill progression after your orientation period. Designed for nurses with limited or no ICU experience, this six-month program includes study days, clinical competencies, and supernumerary time to apply theory to practice while caring for ICU patients. You will receive continuous support throughout the 12-month program, ensuring a seamless transition from theory to practice in the critical care setting.
