Registered nurse - Flight team at Te Whatu Ora - Health New Zealand Tairawhiti, Gisborne We require registered nurses with at least 5 years post graduate experience in critical care (emergency/CCU/ICU) to join our nurse lead flight team in sunny Gisborne flying patients to and from our tertiary hospital and other hospitals and clinics around New Zealand.
Essential attributes are:
Registered nurse with current APC
5 years critical care experience
Current CORE advanced (or ACLS)
Requirement to complete further training specific to flight nursing and other courses
Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively as part of a team
Proven communication and excellent physical assessment skills
Ability to work independently with patients and whanau with complex health needs under the direction of our medical director
