The Registered Nurse is employed to uphold professional knowledge and skills in accordance with Te Whatu Ora Tairawhiti.Responsibilities:Adhere to policies and protocols.Participate in the Professional Development and Recognition Programme (PDRP).About youFor the continued provision of a high standard of care, the Endoscopy Unit is seeking applications from Registered Nurses with recent Endoscopy/Surgical nursing experience. The successful candidate will be a suitably qualified and experienced registered nurse. All candidates must be registered with the New Zealand Nursing Council and have a current annual practicing certificate.Essential skills include:Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, networking and problem-solving abilities.The ability to remain calm under pressure.Ability to work effectively within a team, providing guidance when required.Competency in organisational digital tools and technology.Competency with te ao Maori, tikanga, and te reo Maori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth.Experience in projects/initiatives which give effect to Te Tiriti principles and frameworks, and the application of Matauranga Maori and Kaupapa Maori approaches, particularly as they apply in healthcare settings.Working for Health New ZealandHealth New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is 'the weaving of wellness'.
