The remuneration range for this role is $75,773 to $106,739 and is covered by the collective agreement: NZNO HNZ Collective Agreement 31 March 2023 - 31 October 2024 Te Whatu Ora Tairawhiti is launching a ground breaking new service – Ahuru Mowai (HitH) – delivering acute hospital level care directly to patients in their own homes. This exciting initiative is transforming the way we provide healthcare, and we're searching for exceptional Registered Nurses to join our pioneering team.
Ahuru Mowai (HitH) means a calm safe haven. It's a space for care to be delivered and shared, for healing and recovery.
As an RN for Ahuru Mowai, you will: Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to patients, in their home, requiring acute medical care. Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including doctors, support staff, community health organisations and iwi providers to ensure seamless patient and whanau centred care. Utilise advanced technology to monitor patients remotely and provide telehealth consultations. Embrace innovation and contribute to the ongoing development of the service. Enjoy a flexible work schedule with opportunities for full-time and part-time, across a 7 day roster. Mou - About you A registered nurse with a minimum of 3 years of experience in an acute care setting. Possess a high level of clinical reasoning and skills in assessment, intervention and care planning. Has excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Adaptable, innovative, and passionate about delivering patient-centered care. Competent and confident in cannulation, PICC line management, venepuncture and catheter care. Holds a current New Zealand driver's license .
