Within the Core Midwifery environment no two days will be the same, and you'll be involved with a range of midwifery practice. You will be Supporting Lead Maternity Carers/Caseloading Midwives accessing our rural maternity unit who provide inpatient labour and birth. You will assist with antenatal assessments, labour/birth cares and caring for birthing people and their whanau in a postnatal environment. We have a women and whanau centered approach to our care and you will be making a real difference to the patient experience. Hours of work are Monday to Sunday inclusive, based on rostered shifts including nights, weekends and on-call.
