Our Organisation Te Pae Hauora o Ruahine o Tararua MidCentral (MidCentral) is part of Te Whatu Ora, Health New Zealand and provides healthcare services to over 180,000 people across the Manawatu, Horowhenua and Tararua regions.
With a large hospital campus in Palmerston North, it also provides key health care and support services to neighbouring communities.
The Opportunity Unplanned Care is a programme provided to assist members of our community who go into mental health or addictions crisis.
We are actively recruiting for a mental health & addictions professional who is passionate about effective community engagement, prioritises working alongside whanau for positive outcomes, and who sees the benefits of working in a team-based approach.
The new model of care, Te Matapuna o te Ora, focuses on an integrated treatment approach for those who would benefit from mental health and addiction services.
We are looking for a candidate who is highly motivated, is committed to ensuring culturally responsive care, and is excited by supporting recovery using contemporary practice models.
