In this role, you are responsible for the day-to-day running and monitoring of all refrigeration and cooling appliances and related devices, as well as hot water generation and water quality based on site and researching and investigating continuous improvement opportunities.As the Refrigeration Engineer/Service Technician, your key tasks involve:Daily monitoring of electric heat pumps, Co2 and ammonia refrigeration plant, routine freezer defrosting and management of and testing of water treatment, including Super Chlorination.Ensure routine preventative maintenance and annual servicing is carried out as required.Ensure all fittings, electrical and seals are in line with business needs and performing at acceptable levels.Management of any breakdowns and repair faults in a timely and efficient manner.Routine testing, adjusting and balancing of systems and processes to ensure efficiency.Management of heat recovery and hot water generation for the site.Promoting and complying with Health & Safety practices for themselves and those around them.Organise and coordinate refrigeration contractors to carry out annual overhauls & projects.Additional InformationIf you are a driven and motivated individual don't wait - apply online today or come in and see us at our plant at 5923 State Highway 1, Moerewa 0211 or call us on 09 404 3002.
