Receptionist (Part Time)

Silver Fern Rotorua Suites & Spa is an upscale boutique accommodation and Day-Spa service provider in the popular location of Rotorua, New Zealand. The business is owned and operated by an experienced hospitality management couple and a small, exceptionally "bubbly" service team. We are seeking a part-time receptionist and welcomer (live out) to operate the busy day-to-day front office operations and reservations of Silver Fern Rotorua.
Qualifications & experience
Bubbly personality, passionate, with a can-do attitude.
Well presented with excellent communication skills.
Experience working in hospitality or customer service industries.
Experience in hotel rooms division and/or reservation and/or a busy motel front office preferred.
Patience, tenacity, and respect.
Tasks & responsibilities
Be a memorable ambassador for Silver Fern Rotorua and destination Lake Rotorua!
Deliver warm welcomes and fond farewells for our fabulous guests and regulars.
Friendly & efficient check-ins and check-outs.
Accurately manage payments.
Handle telephone, email, and online enquiries and reservations for accommodation and spa.
Proficiently work with the property management system.
Recommend and book destination activities, restaurants, and travel.
Assist owners/management in overall running of the boutique operations.
Regular and/or flexible hours.
