This is a great opportunity to literally "claim" your place at the pointy end of this independent insurance brokerage in the Bay. They are a well-established company and team who between them have years of experience in personal, commercial, fire, life, medical and general insurance.
The bulk of the job is reception. You will also be responsible for answering incoming calls, receipting/banking client payments, letter writing, data entry, policy documentation, managing the incoming and outgoing mail (including email), photocopying, scanning, maintaining stationery stocks, assisting with credit control, Outlook tasking, and handling routine enquires, as well as any other delegated tasks to assist our team. You're a grinner, not a groaner, and you're happy and confident to take initiative and lend yourself to whatever happens to turn up.
So you will need:
While this position is certainly not for a school leaver, it is a junior-ish position, so those with loads of admin experience will be over qualified. It would be lovely if you've had at least some work experience in an office environment. However, more critical to us is that you are presentable, reliable, have a good attitude and an awesome work ethic.
Proven computer skills in the use of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook/Email and PowerPoint) along with a reasonable typing speed.
