About the role Due to an internal promotion, we are now on the lookout for a motivated and enthusiastic person to join our New Brighton team full-time as a receptionist/legal assistant. Positioned on reception, you will be the first point of contact both in person and on the phone, and you will play a key role in ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience for all clients and visitors. Your duties will also include making appointments, receipting and setting up payments, office administration, preparing and gathering CDD, opening and closing of files, and general office upkeep.
Alongside reception duties, you will also provide legal assistance to our New Brighton team doing a variety of work. This will include duties such as:
Document preparation and drafting Liaising with clients and other law firms as required Transcription Due to the nature of the role, someone with previous legal experience is preferred but not essential. Relevant computer and associated technology experience is essential, as well as attention to detail, strong communication skills, the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines, along with the self-discipline to work in a team or as an individual. This is a varied role so being skilled in multi-tasking is strongly desired.
