Medical Administration (Healthcare & Medical) Have you ever come across a receptionist or administrator that was welcoming, polite, informative, sympathetic, and helpful?
In any business, the most important people are the client's first point of contact – and more often than not, that is the front desk administrative staff.
That friendly, reassuring person on the end of the phone or greeting you by name as you enter the door.
The person who is mindful of not only the client's needs but aware of his/her colleagues' needs and the crucial role an administrator plays to ensure a seamless service.
We are seeking a passionate, welcoming, and bubbly person to work at both our Johnsonville & Porirua clinics.
The position will be 40 hours a week working between the 2 clinics.
There will be an opportunity to work more hours from time to time for cover.
You will work in with multiple physiotherapists, an office manager, and our Director.
The successful applicant will be someone who: Meets and greets all patients and has excellent client and customer focus to build relationships.
Attends to all incoming calls and has a good phone manner.
Completes data entry and administrative tasks daily with a high level of accuracy.
Liaises with the ACC on claim matters.
Completes payment transactions, daily takings, and weekly banking.
Is a problem solver and multi-tasker, leaving no stone unturned and no open loops.
Is computer savvy whilst keen to learn more.
Is proactive and able to set the bar high.
Is reliable, conscientious, and trustworthy with great time management skills.
Can work unsupervised and give massive attention to detail.
Has a positive, solutions-focused attitude and is a team player.
Our practice management system is called Gensolve, and full training will be provided in this.
An understanding of ACC or working within the health environment will certainly be beneficial; however, what is most important to us is the right person and someone who is quick to learn new systems.
We are looking for someone who can really "own this position," operate succinctly, and be flexible.
North City Physiotherapy is a respected and long-standing provider of physiotherapy services in Wellington.
We operate several clinics in the northern suburbs throughout Porirua, Whitby, Tawa, and Johnsonville for almost 20 years.
Our clinic provides general musculoskeletal physiotherapy and rehabilitation, as well as having strong involvement with ACC specific service contracts.
We sponsor and support sports clubs.
We also provide services onsite to local colleges in Porirua & Tawa and have long-standing relationships with local GPs and businesses in our communities.
We are an innovative practice with an epic culture that is dedicated 110% to helping our patients get better and, more importantly, stay better.
