Then maybe it's time to join a growing family operation, PickMee! in our Packhouse.We are looking for motivated and skilled Quality Controllers at all levels to join our team at our young modern facility. Previous experience in the fruit industry as a Quality Controller in a Packhouse environment is essential.This is a hands-on role but also very rewarding.The role of Quality Control is to contribute to the company's growth by supporting and adhering to the Company Quality Standards, Food Safety Standards, MPI Bio Security Systems, and Customer Specifications to ensure compliance with relevant certifications (BRC etc).At PickMee, we employ staff who focus on quality, have a passion for fruit, work collaboratively with their team, and focus on sustainable practices while pursuing individual and company progression and growth.The successful applicant will possess the following skills and attributes:Experience in the Horticulture Industry is a must.An advantage if Phyto Certified.Ensure at all times Product and Customer Specifications are met for all parameters (Cosmetic, BRIX, and Pressure).Strong attention to detail along with documentation and reporting skills.An ability to analyze problems and implement effective solutions in a timely manner and communicate this with those around you.Be self-motivated and capable of working independently within a tight Production Team.Organized, with the ability to plan and prioritize workload in a sometimes challenging environment.The ability to work lawfully in New Zealand.If you are interested in working in a passionate and fast-paced business, as part of a great team, we would love to hear from you.
