A unique opportunity has come about due to continued roll growth for an ECE Teacher to join a busy large centre located in the central business area in Upper Hutt. This team are passionate about the wellbeing of tamariki, where they promote an inclusive and nurturing environment and collaboration is encouraged. In this role, you will get to enjoy a vibrant environment in a purpose built centre spread over 4 classrooms. This is a busy fast paced centre and they offer a programme where children's learning priorities are identified and Kaiako work with children to support them to be successful life long learners. The centre: 98 licence centre Kai provided for children  Close to shops / cafes / local amenities  Bus stop and train station nearby  Regular excursions to the library and local parks A focus on Teacher wellbeing and professional development  A centre that has a true commitment to our bicultural heritage who acknowledges the principles inherent in Te Tiriti o Waitangi. B Ed/Dip Teaching Level 7 (ECE) Current New Zealand Teacher Registration (provisional or full) Full NZ work rights and be residing in NZ already  A genuine warmth, care, and passion for children. Demonstrated passion for tamarikis learning and the ability to plan engaging activties  Team-player who is collaborative and reflects upon best practice. Knowledge and understanding of Te Whariki We welcome applications from NZ based Kaiako of all different experience levels and happy to also consider a Teacher in Training in their final months of study.
