In this hands-on role, a day in the life could look like: Cutting, trimming, and packaging meat products as well as using different machinery Interacting with customers helping them choose the best cuts of meat for their needs Maintaining great presentation for the Butchery department Sharing your knowledge by training and developing other team members Championing Occupational Health and Safety and Food Safety practices to ensure a safe working environment for customers, staff, and contractors In this role we are looking for our new Butcher to: Hold a NZ Certificate in Trade Butchery Have a willingness to start early and work on your feet for most of your shift Be a strong communicator and effectively communicate with customers and team members Regularly lift up to 15kgs, bend, reach, and complete repetitive movements If you are ready to share your passion with our team and customers, click APPLY NOW!
