Job Description & Summary
At PwC, you won't just be part of a team; you'll belong to our whanau, a dynamic community of problem solvers who thrive on embracing differences. Picture a place where your uniqueness isn't just valued; it's the driving force behind groundbreaking solutions. We're not just about jobs; we're about unleashing your potential.
PwC empowers you with cutting-edge technology, personalised coaching, and the trust to make a difference. We believe that through collaboration, we unlock the true potential of our people, elevate our clients, and impact society. Are you ready to redefine success with us? PwC is more than just a workplace; it's a place where your authentic self meets endless possibilities.
In our MVD team, we're looking for Graduates across Tamaki Makaurau/Auckland who will start with us in July 2024.
As part of the MVD - Derivatives & Valuation team, you will gain first-hand experience in performing valuations of financial instruments. Many of our clients apply a diverse range of financial instruments and it's our team's goal to unlock the true value of these transactions and provide valuable insights that shape the decision of our clients.
These financial instruments include quoted equities & bonds, unlisted debt, and derivatives. In this role, you'll tackle the challenges around gaining the value of transactions, whether it's estimating the valuation impact of credit risk, capturing the impact of complex terms, or managing poor or non-existent input data. That's where our Derivatives & Valuation (MVD) team gets involved. We support clients and audit teams by estimating appropriate valuations on their financial instruments using independent market data and valuation engines.
Join our MVD - Derivatives and Valuation team and immerse yourself in a world where every day will bring a new challenge to solve, and you'll engage in highly innovative thinking. We love to solve issues that no one else can, which is why clients consistently turn to PwC and why we have such a lasting impact on the entire industry.
As a Graduate, you will learn from the experts. With enthusiasm and curiosity, you will acquire the skills and experience to further your career. You will also have the opportunity to work closely with our clients, gain first-hand experience of the different issues they face, and practical insights into how we manage them.
Enough about us. Let's talk about you.
We understand that you might not have extensive work experience, and that's perfectly fine! What matters most to us is your potential to learn and grow.
What are you likely to have studied?

Bachelor of Computer Science
Bachelor of Physics
Bachelor of Mathematics
Bachelor of Commerce

To be considered for the role, you must have completed your bachelor's degree by June 2024 or within three years preceding the July start date.
Does this sound like the perfect fit for you? Submit your application now!
Please ensure you have your CV and academic transcript ready. In the application form for this role, we will also ask you to let us know if you would consider other roles. Once you have filled that part out, we'll take care of the rest so no need to apply more than once.
