The role: We are currently looking for a Purchaser to join our established and successful supply chain team! You will be based in the head office, providing support to 16 branches across NZ. This role will suit someone who has been in a similar role within a business that has a large volume of inventory and stock procurement. Responsibilities include: Reporting into the Procurement Manager - Products Inventory, specifically, stock replenishment, VOR demand and indent requests, by designated supplier Process purchase orders with our valued suppliers Ensuring that the most efficient shipping method at the best price is secured Provide price, availability and ETA's to staff in a timely manner Regularly report on purchasing activities and price variances Monitor stock levels and anticipate stock required to ensure that sufficient levels are maintained We are ideally looking for: Someone that can work cooperatively in a team and independently You will be a self-starter and display commercial acumen Demonstrate knowledge of DMS/ERP/Inventory forecasting systems Competent with MS Office applications, especially Excel Excellent written and verbal communication skills If this sounds like you, then we can't wait to see your application by hitting APPLY NOW.
