Details of the offer

Body In Motion is a leading allied health treatment and rehabilitation company providing services across the Waikato and Bay of Plenty regions. We are a privately-owned, growing company where people matter most.
Our greatest strength is our team, and we are proud of the culture we have developed over many years. High performance is in our blood. We set clear goals and support the growth of our teams to be the best they can be. This is recognised through excellent employment conditions and a competitive remuneration package.
We are a community-based, NZ-owned and operated business with a firm commitment to the Bay of Plenty and Waikato regions. Due to business growth, we are seeking another team member to join our psychology team and contribute to the growth of the business through professional, compassionate, and effective treatment.
In this role, you'll be involved with a variety of clinical work (assessment and therapy) for injury-related rehabilitation including concussion services, pain management, psychology services and rehabilitation.
You will be:
Completing assessments with clients to determine the most appropriate programme for their needs.
Liaising with the passionate locally based Body in Motion therapy team and also with external funders.
Managing the care of your clients while working alongside the rest of the business to come up with a holistic plan for treatment.
Providing reports as required for external stakeholders.
Attending professional development courses and ensuring knowledge is current, up-to-date, and consistent with leading-edge psychological practice.
The ideal candidate will:
Hold all the appropriate qualifications, including being a Registered Psychologist/Clinical Psychologist with a current practicing certificate.
Have a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience (required).
Have experience managing a portfolio of clients and delivering meaningful results to your patients.
ACC Psychology Services' experience and treating patients with head injuries would be beneficial.
Work well in a team environment.
Competitive remuneration is on offer, as well as the opportunity to grow and develop your clinical career. We have both part and full-time opportunities available.
If professional growth and being part of a friendly and supportive multidisciplinary team interests you, please apply with your CV and cover letter.
