What you'll do with your time The West Coast location offers amazing lifestyle and recreational activity opportunities, professional challenges, and opportunities.
If you love the rural setting and the great outdoors, then this is the role for you.
Adult Mental Health and Addiction Services are seeking applications from psychiatrists who would be interested in working in the rural health setting.
The ongoing development of rural specialties, and working to progress integrated services across the Coast, offer you the opportunity to become involved in designing sustainable services for the future.

We have systems in place to support collegial relationships and professional development, and we're always keen to explore new ideas.
Rural services require a high degree of flexibility, as the work is diverse.
The role is essentially for a generalist and may include responsibility for aspects of general adult psychiatry (community and inpatient), addictions, older persons, and child and adolescents.
The exact range of clinical responsibilities will be negotiated in regard to your experience, interests, and the Service needs.
Why us This isn't a job for just anyone; joining us means sharing our goals and values and being dedicated to this community and our team as we seek to become a centre of excellence in rural health care.
We offer competitive benefits, flexible working arrangements, and a relocation scheme to candidates who will join us in this.
