Opportunity to become a member of the Rural Special Interest group.This mental health team is small. You will be one of a team of several psychiatrists (3 FTE) working collegially with a stable and experienced workforce to provide specialist services to a population of approximately 32,000 people. We have good systems in place that support collegial relationships and professional development.Rural services require a high degree of flexibility, as the work is diverse. The role is essentially for a generalist and may include responsibility for aspects of general adult psychiatry (community and inpatient), addictions, older persons, and child and adolescents.
