If you enjoy taking on complex challenges in a fast-paced environment where your technical and analytical experience will be put to the test then look no further.The Role:As a Protection Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role within our team, it is busy, and we're growing!Your responsibilities will include:Oversee and evaluate all protection and control scheme designs and configurations.Ensuring resilience and risk management are at a sustainable level.Identify, gather and review incidents to assess the effectiveness of the protection and control schemes.Providing technical expertise on protection and control requirements.Develop protection and control design maintenance standardsDevelop protection schemes.Develop relay configuration.Design and oversee protection settings.Ensure detailed and technical protection reports are written and provided in a timely mannerWhat you bring to the role:An appropriate tertiary-level qualification in Electrical Engineering5+ years of industry experience in protection engineeringThe ability to run protection projects alongside clientsStrong knowledge of electrical engineering principles and practicesCompetency in auditing, root cause analysis, and risk managementExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsIf this sounds like you – then please get in touch today, we have roles across New Zealand, and provide excellent salaries, benefits, company cultures and the know-how of where a great place to work is!
