We are seeking to recruit a Property Support Officer to join our property and facilities team.
This is a fantastic full time, permanent role which offers an excellent opportunity to work within a talented, forward-thinking team.
What will you do? The successful candidate will hold responsibility for a variety of important duties including, but not limited to:
Conducting risk assessments for council owned facilities, whilst regularly reviewing risk management plans collaborating with health and safety teams.Monitor contractor performance through regular reviews and ensure contracts comply with Council policies.Audit and update the registers of BDCs leases, Licences to Occupy and Encroachment applications for council owned or administered property.Support Community Services with welfare of senior housing residents, ensuring properties are fit for purpose, well maintained and satisfying our elderly residents.Ensure all relevant legislative requirements are followed and met e.g. Health and Safety Act.Administer agreed budget activities through effective financial management, planning and reporting.Assist with Reserve and Asset Management plans where needed.Support Planning with Reserves, Parks, Playgrounds and associated Facilities and Land Management. Who are you? You will have 3+ years of office administration experience and some project management experience is desirable but not essentialBe able to demonstrate a high level of emotional intelligence and empathy in all situations.You can demonstrate flexibility for dynamic situations with high motivation when it comes to delivering excellent customer service.You will have great time management skills with proven ability to prioritise workload with resilience and the ability to cope under pressure.
