Our client operates a well-established, highly successful, commercial Plumbing and HVAC business.
Due to newly landed projects, they are now looking for an experienced Project Manager to manage a wide range of projects in the Plumbing and HVAC space. Current projects include hospitals, schools, and new commercial property builds with a solid pipeline of projects.
This role reports directly to the Operations Manager.
Operating out of a modern office space in Dunedin, this company has continued to grow, and is a leading company in the Dunedin market.
Job Overview In this key Project Manager role, you will:
Oversee multiple projects from start to finish
Support the pricing and tendering processes
Coordinate the team, external suppliers, and clients
Ensure all milestones are met and quality is maintained
In this role, you will lead the team to ensure deadlines are met on time and on budget. You will be the key point of contact for all project communications, including legal and safety compliance, liaising with staff, subcontractors, and vendors.
Your skill set will include a high level of financial management, and the ability to deliver accurate and timely project status reporting.
Requirements: Strong Project Management experience in New Zealand Plumbing/HVAC sector
Qualified and registered with the appropriate regulatory body
Well-developed applied knowledge of New Zealand industry codes
Effective leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
Knowledge of relevant software – ideally has experience with MS Project
Current NZ driver's license
