Project Manager

This is a full-time, fixed-term role for 12 months, based in Kaikohe.
We're seeking a talented, organised and collaborative Project Manager to join our team.
You'll be managing a mix of strategic and operational projects that contribute towards transformative outcomes for mokopuna and whanau.
Our current projects include the establishment of new support services for whanau and mokopuna, as well as developing our organisational capability so we can better serve our people.
We have relationships with mokopuna and whanau, hapu, hapori and across agencies that are critical to success in this space. Your role will be to nurture these relationships using your skills to listen, understand, articulate and deliver solutions that meet the need.
As Project Manager you'll be:
Working closely with diverse stakeholders.
Leading the delivery of projects, workstreams, and initiatives.
Effectively communicating internally and externally to build awareness, gain meaningful insights, and provide timely reports.
You're passionate about kaupapa-led mahi and have a track record of delivering successful projects.
You have experience with engaging and working collaboratively with diverse stakeholders including community, Maori, and agencies.
You're curious, organised, and a problem solver who is open to other people's ideas and whakaaro.
You feel comfortable with ambiguity and using your project management skills to ensure the delivery, planning, resource allocation, and budgeting are on track.

You'll be based in the beautiful Tai Tokerau with rolling hills, lush forests, white sand beaches, and a wealth of heritage and cultural sites.
You'll also be part of an organisation that has over 30 years' experience of providing social services across the rohe.
Ngapuhi Iwi Social Services provides a range of support and services including youth services, family harm support, care, and matua atawhai services and more.
We provide opportunities for our kaimahi to develop their reo Maori and knowledge of te ao Maori and Ngapuhitanga in a supportive and encouraging environment.
