This is a local family-oriented building company that has built up a strong and reliable brand over the past decade plus. They have steadily built up their profile and delivered many new build homes with their in-house design process and smooth customer interface. They have diversified of recent with add on services into smaller civil works. They are now looking to consolidate and insert a new role into the business with a Project Manager to oversee all projects and assist in the smooth running of the business as well as add value for improvements.
The role will report into the Managing Director and will assume the below responsibilities: Management of a team of carpenters working across several projectsManage scopes of works and execution of contractsManagement of all H&S attributes and ensuring a H&S working environmentPlanning and managing resources for projects.Collaborate with clients, architects, and council to ensure compliance with regulations.Managing all costs and ensuring the timeliness, quality of job and cost effectiveness of the jobContributing to the system and adding any technology and/or improved systems where deemed necessary.Business development networking and growing relationships with suppliers, contractors and all other external stakeholdersThis role would suit a relationships-driven business and technology-savvy project manager that has the following: Either carpentry trade or tertiary qualified in construction management6+ years of experience gained within residential new builds, renovations or general construction on-site or in possibly a client-side role that is looking to step into a pure management role.Ability to insert any processes and/or systems for improved efficiencies within a business.Able to manage staff and get the best outcomes for project and staff.Excellent communication skills and relationship-building ability with possible preexisting networks to tap into to build further business.Knowledge and application of H&S protocolsSalary level: $100K - $110K + vehicle
