About the Role:
We are looking for a driven, customer-focused Project Management professional for this new role based at our Napier Works Site. In this role, you will have a high level of autonomy and be responsible for managing large projects such as asset upgrades and improvements through the organisation's manufacturing plants and distribution centres. You will control all aspects of project delivery and will be responsible for oversight and delivery of the major capital portfolio. You'll manage contractors, consultants, and work alongside our employees to drive the successful completion of these projects within budget and on time.
Key Responsibilities:
Full end-to-end project management of a variety of complex industrial projects across the organisation.
Contract management including consultants and contractors.
Oversee and participate in the continuous improvement approach that we have to our project delivery systems.
Apply fit-for-purpose international best practices project delivery strategies to ensure our projects are set up and delivered for success.
About You:
We are looking for an experienced Project Management professional with the knack for building strong relationships with key stakeholders and being able to take them on a journey with you. You will be driven by success, well-organised, and will be able to translate strategy into achievable goals. You will not be afraid to challenge the status quo and will continually bring new innovative solutions to the business.
Ideal Skills & Experience:
Tertiary level degree in Engineering.
7+ years' professional experience, including direct experience on industrial manufacturing sites.
A high level of experience in project framing studies, plus concept and preliminary engineering, capital cost estimating, scheduling, and stakeholder engagement.
Experience delivering successful projects in excess of $15M from start-to-finish.
Experience in managing multi-discipline engineering projects.
Strong construction delivery experience.
Strong contract development and negotiation experience.
Experience with contract administration, i.e. Engineer to Contract, Clients Representative roles or similar.
