E and J Contractors have a fantastic opportunity for a Project Manager to join and support our team in Taupo. Who Are We? E & J Contractors is a long-established drainage and contracting company based in Taupo with projects throughout New Zealand. Our Registered and Certified Drainage team specialize in the following: Residential and commercial Drainage Subdivisions: Stormwater drainage, Sanitary Sewer Reticulation, Water Reticulation PE Electrofusion and Butt Welding FRG (fiberglass) installation, jointing and fabrication. Supply and Installation of Septic Tanks, Wastewater Treatment Systems, Sewer Pump Stations, Water Tanks Wastewater Treatment Systems – Design, Installation and Servicing All types of emergency works associated with Stormwater, sanitary sewer, and water reticulation. Soakage Trenches & Soak Holes: design and construction GPS Excavations Responsibilities The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing projects within the decided-upon budget, timeline, and scope. They will also effectively monitor and present project updates to the Managing Director, clients, and project team members. Set project timelines Monitor project deliverables Update Managing Director, clients, and team members on the project progress Oversee staff training and development and promote opportunities for mentorship Knowledge of design and visualizations software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D or similar to contribute to design Tendering/quoting for works And all other duties that PM encompasses Qualifications Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience Strong business acumen in project planning and management Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills Strong leadership and an ability to motivate and support other team members Experience in/with use of GPS equipment.
