Watershed is a multi-discipline company with offices around the country, where a large part of our work is focussed on improving school property while working closely with the Ministry of Education. The projects team plays a vital role in the full execution of project delivery, ensuring that the project runs smoothly and that all requirements are met during the project lifecycle. This is a fast-paced job which requires a lot of communication and understanding of the construction industry while you are managing multiple small to medium sized projects.
Key Responsibilities: Oversee projects across the state and state integrated education sector Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure project alignment with client visions and objectives Coordinate and manage project timelines, resources, and budgets Implement quality control measures to ensure high standards of project delivery Facilitate effective communication between teams and clients throughout the project lifecycle. Requirements: Proven experience in consultancy project management within the education or government sector Strong organisational skills with a keen eye for detail and quality assurance Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Proficiency in project management tools and software Capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously throughout planning, procurement and delivery Professional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to produce timely and accurate reporting A sound knowledge of NZS3910 would be preferred.
