Mo tenei turangi mahi/ About the role An exciting opportunity has opened up to join our Taranaki 'Branching Out; Food and Fibre Value Chain Project' team as a Project Administrator, contributing to the growth of the food and fibre sector in the region. This is a fixed-term role for 12 months, 16 hours per week. The Project Administrator will assist the Project Manager in implementing Phase 2 of 'Branching Out', ensuring smooth execution of project activities, and maintaining momentum. This role includes administrative support, progress monitoring, research and data management, and coordination with internal teams and external stakeholders. Key responsibilities include assisting with project timelines, resources, and activities; supporting research; maintaining databases; stakeholder coordination; event organisation; expense processing and budget tracking; and report preparation. The right candidate will be pro-active, methodical, and a critical thinker with an eye for detail. An organisational superstar with solid admin experience, you will be task-oriented and thrive in a fast-paced project environment. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to relate to people across all levels and sectors. Strong research and data management skills, with the ability to apply critical thinking and analysis. Proficiency in using project management and office software tools. Ability to work well as part of a small and agile team. Problem-solving skills and the ability to develop and implement innovative solutions.
