This is an amazing opportunity for an experienced programme manager looking to further their career in the water industry by leading delivery of Tauranga's biggest emerging programme of works!
As a Programme Manager in our City Waters division you will organise, manage and lead a significant programme of projects that deliver on strategic priorities set by Programme Management Lead and Manager: Water Infrastructure Outcomes. The role will have considerable scope to influence and guide the delivery strategy for this relatively new programme to enable growth and build resilience across Tauranga's water and wastewater networks.
Other responsibilities include:
Provide strong and effective leadership to your team, mentoring, coaching and building capability of all members.
Actively participate in the City Waters Programme management leadership team and the City waters project delivery team.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure efficient and effective delivery of the programme.
Nga Pukenga | What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role, you'll bring:
Bachelor of Engineering or Equivalent
10+ years Project Management experience
Programme management experience
Proven experience in project governance structures and risk management
Significant water industry experience
Project Steering Group experience
Team leadership experience
