3 6 month fixed term contract positionImmediate starts available4 on 4 off roster varied shifts between 5am 12amWe manufacture highquality highspecification Infant Formula for the demanding and growing Chinese market Based within the manufacturing plant you will be trained on the operation of our highly automated plant and computerised machinery to transform milk and ingredients into an added value nutritional product You will take ownership of the plant area while on shift and maintain an extremely high level of hygiene while doing so Day to day responsibilities include Ensure quality and food safety policies are adhered toFill out all appropriate documentation accurately and at the required timeMaintain a high level of hygiene of self and the work areaTo communicate effectively with Management and other operators on problems events that have taken place on shiftTo follow designated cleaning procedures ensuring plant is clean To inform Management of any abnormalities in running conditions without delayTo allow safe work practices at all times communicating any hazards to the ManagementAssist in routine maintenance and shutdown maintenance as directed by SupervisorAssist in the development of procedures and manualsCarrying out non production roles to assist in the successful running of Yashili NZ Adhere to all environmental management policies and procedures and immediately report any noncompliancesParticipation in continuous improvement related activities relating to H S and SOPsKey skills and experience required High reliable team playerPrevious experience in a food manufacturing environment and experience with Food Safety and HACCP systems is highly desiredAdvanced problem solving and faultfinding abilitiesWelldeveloped communication and interpersonal skillsStrong organisational and planning skillsKnowledge and application of industrial and personal safety behavioursYou will have a positive attitudeAble to demonstrate high attention to detail and ability to multitask in a pressurised environmentApply Online today Complete our application form below
