Position Overview:
A Production & Inventory Analyst is responsible for managing and optimizing the production and inventory levels of goods within a company. The primary focus is to ensure that production processes run smoothly while minimizing inventory losses and maximizing efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods to ensure adequate supply to meet production demands without excess stock and to prevent out-of-stock (OOS) items.
Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze production and inventory data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement. Utilize statistical methods to forecast future demand and optimize inventory levels. Prepare regular reports on production and inventory metrics, including key performance indicators (KPIs), for management review on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
Continuous Improvement: Implement process improvements to enhance production efficiency, reduce waste, and lower costs.
Support: Assist the IT Systems and Data Manager with administrative tasks, identifying discrepancies, problem-solving, and any other duties as required.
Qualifications:
Bachelors' Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, or a related field.
Previous experience in inventory management (2-5 years) or supply chain analysis is required, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Familiarity with production processes, supply chain management principles, and industry best practices.
